CHAPTER 3 - STRATEGIC INITIATIVES FOR IMPLEMENTING COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

Here  we meet again and hye my beloved readers , Assalamualaikum :)

Last week , i have learn about Strategic Intiative for Implementing Competitive Advantages in chapter 3.
This chapter is quite interesting because i learned about strategy. Strategy will drive us to success. 

 Organization can undertake high - profile strategic initiatives including :

  1. Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  2. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  3. Business process reengineering (BPR)
  4. Enterprise resource planning (ERP)

For me SCM enable to decrease the power of its buyers, increase its own supplier , increase switching costs to reduce threat of substitute products or services , create entry barriers and increase efficiencies while seeking a competitive advantages through cost leadership toward organization.



Second is CRM . I think CRM really important in our daily life. It is because it related with relationship. If we can build a good relationship , it is really good. CRM is a strategy , not just technology. From there , we can know the way to threat customer , types of customer , behavior , design individual customer marketing campaign and so on.

Thirdly is Business Process Reengineering. It is a standardized set of activities that accomplish a specific task such as processing customer's order. If i give you two example Unifi VS Streamyx , what will you choose , of course Unifi right. I think unifi is the best one because of their speed. that's it
Lastly ERP 'Enterprise'. I think this is the best strategy because we can collect data from various organization , correlates the data , generating and enterprise wide view. Put on one folder for all organization. So it will save time. Get it ? :)
